You can apply for this visa online from inside or outside Australia. You must be enrolled in an Australian course with a valid Confirmation of Enrolment, hold Overseas Student Health Cover, meet age and welfare requirements, and follow work limits during study. Eligible graduates may apply for a 485 visa after completing their course.

Hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), or fall in one of the exemption categories

be 6 years or older

prove you have a welfare arrangement, if you are under 18

If in Australia hold an eligible substantive visa as per requirement.

work up to 48 hours a fortnight when your course of study or training is in session.
